Halo® Tribrid™ is Sciton’s most advanced laser platform, taking the proven Halo hybrid fractional technology to the next level by adding a third wavelength. This tri-wavelength system combines non-ablative coagulation, ablative resurfacing, and a thulium wavelength — all in one treatment — to address a broader range of skin concerns with customizable precision. It’s the ultimate upgrade for patients who want comprehensive results.
Halo Tribrid uses three wavelengths simultaneously: the 1470 nm non-ablative wavelength for deep coagulation and collagen stimulation, the 2940 nm ablative wavelength for surface resurfacing and skin renewal, and the 1927 nm thulium wavelength — the same technology used in the Moxi laser — which specifically targets pigmentation and superficial discoloration. Delivering all three in a single pass means less cumulative downtime with more comprehensive results than any single or dual-wavelength laser.
Halo Tribrid is particularly effective for sun damage, melasma, pigmentation and brown spots, fine lines and wrinkles, rough or uneven skin texture, enlarged pores, dullness, and overall skin quality. The addition of the 1927 nm wavelength makes it especially powerful for targeting stubborn discoloration and surface pigmentation that standard Halo may not address as aggressively. It’s an excellent option for patients looking for the most complete skin rejuvenation available in a single session.
A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment for comfort. The Tribrid handpiece glides over the skin delivering all three wavelengths simultaneously using Sciton’s intelligent motion-tracking technology for uniform, precise coverage. Treatment typically takes 30–60 minutes. You may experience a warm, prickling sensation during the procedure. Afterward, skin will appear red and feel warm — you’ll be provided with detailed aftercare instructions to support your healing.
Expect 3–5 days of bronzing and peeling as the skin sheds and renews. Within one to two weeks, most clients see dramatically improved skin clarity, more even tone, reduced pigmentation, and that signature radiant “Halo Glow.” Because of the added thulium wavelength, Tribrid often delivers more noticeable improvement in pigmentation and surface texture compared to standard Halo — often in just one treatment.
